read more about After a successful trial in Red Deer, Plant joined Market Collective and found a whole community of support. They attended markets all over Alberta and Saskatchewan, constructing a frequently expanding product line
from their tiny 650 square foot home. After a busy holiday season in 2013, it became clear that the living room was not an optimal studio, so the hunt for a space began.Plant’s brick-and-mortar shop opened in March
2014 in a 1000 square foot space in Inglewood.
Originally fuelled by Kyle and Erika with occasional free labour from friends and family, Plant now employs a large team of talented and dedicated staff. Plant
also secured its dream space in 2016: a converted garage with 3000 square feet of usable space in one of Canada’s best neighborhoods. With a continually-expanding product line, partnerships with local and international
makers, artists, and craftspeople, Plant is known for offering unique, well-curated selection of products and designs, and friendly, approachable customer service.
